Enable Flash to View the Nextiva vFAX Portal
With Nextiva vFAX, you are able to access faxes from your email or the vFAX portal. As for site access, you are required to have flash installed and enabled. Any device that does not support flash will not be able to access the Nextiva vFAX portal. If you are trying to utilize the vFAX portal and are reaching an error (Figure 1-1), please follow the steps below to enable Flash for one of the following supported browsers.

Enabling Flash in Google Chrome:

Select Secure to the left side of the address bar (Figure 1-2).

Select the drop-down menu next to Flash and select Always allow on this site Refresh web browser to apply your updated settings.

Enabling Flash in Safari:

If using macOS X 10.11 or newer, please see below:
Open Safari, and select Preferences. Select the Websites tab and scroll down to the Plug-Ins section. Locate the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and select the check box to enable Flash Player. Select the drop-down menu next to vfax.nextiva.com and select On (Figure 2-1). Close your browser, reopen it, and the changes will take effect.

If using macOS X 10.10, please see below:
Open Safari, and choose Preferences. Select the Security tab (Figure 2-2).

Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. Select Plug-in Settings and select Adobe Flash Player. Select the drop-down menu next to vfax.nextiva.com and select On, and then click Done. Close your browser, reopen it, and the changes will take effect.
If using Mac OS X 10.0 or earlier, please see below:
Open Safari, and select Preferences. Select the Security tab. Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. Select Manage Website Settings and select Adobe Flash Player. Select the drop-down menu next to vfax.nextiva.com and select On, and then click Done. Close your browser, reopen it, and the changes will take effect.

How to enable Flash in Internet Explorer:
To check if your Flash Player is enabled by Internet Explorer, navigate to the top right corner, select Settings. Go to Manage Add-ons, and then select Toolbars and Extensions on the left. Here, select Shockwave Flash Object (Figure 3-1). Then on the bottom right, select Enable. Close your browser, reopen it, and the changes will take effect.
